A szinkron nyomorba dönt? Szavazzon

A szinkron gyilkos, a gyilkos szinkron.
Magyarság elleni bűntett, amit a legszigorúbban kéne büntetni.

A megkérdezett magyaroknak csupán 35%-ka mondja magáról, hogy beszél valamilyen idegen nyelvet. Az európai átlag 50% feletti. A legnagyobb magyar mozihálózat előadásainak kevesebb, mint 15%, míg a tv műsorok teljesen elenyésző száma érhető el eredeti nyelven. Alkalmazottként nyelvtudás nélkül 200 ezer fölött keresni szinte lehetetlen. A szinkron nyomorba dönt?(...)
Amennyiben idáig eljutottál, akkor talán szívesen alá is írod ezt a petíciót, ami több eredeti nyelven történő vetítést követel a mozikba!

(szamizdat.cink.hu/)

kérjük, szavazzál:

Kérjük vissza a feliratos kópiákat a magyar mozikba!

BRING THE SUBTITLES BACK TO THE HUNGARIAN CINEMAS!
In 2013 the number of subtitled movies has drastically decreased in the Hungarian cinemas. The distributors have stopped creating them citing various statistics and cost optimalizations. Although there are still some OV (Original Version) copies available, they mostly come in cheap 3D edition only.
The European Commission has scientifically proven that „subtitling helps to improve foreign language skills and can also create awareness and provide motivation to learn languages, in both formal and informal contexts, thus contributing to the creation of an environment that encourages multilingualism.” http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/llp/studies/documents/study_on_the_use_of_subtitling/resume-en.pdf
We understand that the movie distributors aim for the profit first, and that paying customers are less important. But we can make a difference!
- Sign this petition if you are a foreign cinema-fan in Hungary, but cannot watch movies because you happen to live in the countryside, or your choices are limited to a few movies offered by MOM Park, Budapest (and other equivalent theaters).
- Sign this petition if you agree that today’s cinematic situation is nearly unbearable for you. Sign if you would like to and more importantly - pay to see the movies in their original language with your Hungarian partners, to hear the original voice-work of the actors, but subtitles are needed for Hungarian mates to understand the movies.
- Sign this petition if you believe in the power of choice so it will be you who can decide to see a movie in dubbed or subtitled.
We don’t want much: we do know that cinemas on the countryside are less important than the movie theaters in the capital. We would be happy if just in the capital – and later in the county seats as well - a certain selection of subtitled movies was always available in regular 2D, just as it was common until last year. The aim of this petition was to have 1000 signatures. We have already exceeded it and will stop at nothing to bring subtitles back to our beloved cinemas. This petiton will be sent to all Hungarian movie distributors. We expect official replies outlining the next steps to have subtitled movies again in the Hungarian movie theaters. No bluffs will be accepted."

"Dear Foreigners in Hungary,
As you might have recently noticed, we have recently lost a very dear friend from the Hungarian cinemas. Subtitles have gone almost non-existent, just like vinyl records in the CD – era, or CD-s in the digital era. They say that vinyls sounded the best, and we know that subtitles were the best way to see a movie.
Thus you native English speakers, people with English as a second language and us, Hungarians learning the language could enjoy a funny movie, an action movie or a tearjerker romantic drama at the same time and place. Unfortunately that’s just not the case anymore. More and more dubbed movies have invaded the cinemas, wiping out the poor cousin, the subtitled movie. Maybe it’s a movie from Thailand, maybe it’s from France, the talking heads now all speak fluent Hungarian. You cannot understand them anymore, just as much we wonder what happened to our most favourite pastime. Our last hope, the sacred church of MOM Park, banished into the far and away 11th district, has just also stopped offering subtitled weekly ceremonies.
Thanks the movie Gods, we still have the OV versions, so many of you, and the language-smart of us can still enjoy Benedict Cumberbath annihilating Star Trek of Brad Pitt overrunning dozens of zombies, but what happens to the rest?
Folks who have just started to learn english, and are yet scared of riddles and weird dialects, and what about the hearing impaired people, who need to the written text understand the movies?
Let us be silent no more!
Stand up and let us our voice heard! Let us ask the Hungarian movie distributors to bring the subtitled movies back! Please sign the below petition, and let us know that you want to see and will pay for more subtitled films. You get variety, we get a chance at enjoying the movies are they were meant to be seem – in their original voices."

Monty Python eredeti nyelven:

Az alkotók a külföldi tévétársaságok számára nem engedélyezték a sorozat szinkronizálását, kizárólag feliratosan kerülhetett adásba. (A magyar fordítást Galla Miklós készítette.) (Monty Python, wikipedia)
